Introduction to Eskra Settings

Settings Overview

The Eskra settings panel is your control center for customizing every aspect of your email management experience. Access settings by clicking the gear icon in the dashboard. The settings are organized into 9 tabs, each managing different aspects of your account.

You can access settings anytime from the dashboard by clicking the settings icon.

The 9 Settings Tabs

Here's a quick overview of each settings tab and what you can configure:

Preferences

Customize your interface language, theme (light/dark), and inbox sorting preferences. Most importantly, select and configure your preferred AI model (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Deepseek, or Claude) and adjust AI settings like temperature, max tokens, and system prompts.

Account

Manage your basic account information including your name, email address, and subscription details. You can also manage your subscription plan from this tab.

Sheets

Connect Google Sheets or Excel files containing customer information and product data. This allows the AI to provide more personalized, informed responses by accessing your business data.

Sticky Notes

Create reusable note templates that you frequently add to AI replies. Turn common instructions into one-click shortcuts - for example, "mention free shipping" or "offer 15% discount".

Signatures

Create and manage multiple email signatures. Add your name, title, contact information, and branding to be automatically included in your email replies.

Custom GPT

Train custom ChatGPT models specifically for your business. Create specialized AI models that understand your products, tone, and customer service approach.

Usage

Track your Eskra usage including the number of emails sent, AI responses generated, and other activity metrics. Monitor your account activity and usage patterns.

Billing

Manage your subscription plan, view billing history, update payment methods, and handle all payment-related matters.

Security

Configure security settings including Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added account protection. This is also where you can delete your account if needed.

Preferences: Your Most Important Settings

The Preferences tab is where you'll spend the most time, as it controls your core experience. Let's break down the key options:

Basic Preferences

Set your preferred language, choose between light and dark theme, and configure how your inbox is sorted (newest to oldest, oldest to newest, or unanswered only - which shows only emails you haven't replied to yet).

AI Model Selection

Choose which AI model generates your email replies. You have four options:

ChatGPT (default) - OpenAI's powerful language model with various GPT versions available
Google Gemini - Google's advanced AI with strong reasoning capabilities
Deepseek - Alternative AI model for specialized use cases
Claude (Anthropic) - Advanced AI with exceptional context understanding, web search, and natural communication style

AI Settings & Customization

For each AI model, you can click the settings icon to customize the system prompt (instructions for how the AI should behave), select specific model versions (like GPT-4o Mini, gemini-2.0-pro), and adjust advanced parameters like temperature, max tokens, top P, and presence penalty to fine-tune the AI's responses.

To get the most out of Eskra, start by exploring the Preferences tab to select your AI model and sorting preference. Then, check out the other tabs as needed - Sheets for customer data integration, Sticky Notes for common responses, and Signatures for professional email signatures. Each feature has detailed documentation to guide you through setup.
