Update your profile, enable 2FA, and secure your account

Accessing your account settings
All account settings can be found in your Eskra dashboard. Click on Settings in the sidebar navigation to access your account and security options.
Changing your name
To update your display name:
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Find the "Name" field
- Enter your new name
- Click Save to apply changes
Changing your email address
To update your email address:
- Navigate to Settings → Account
- Find the "Email" field
- Enter your new email address
- Click Save to apply changes
Note: You'll need to verify your new email address. Check your inbox for a verification email.
Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password.
- Navigate to Settings → Security
- Find the "Two-Factor Authentication" section
- Click Enable 2FA
- Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator on your mobile device
- Enter the 6-digit verification code from your authenticator app
- Save your backup codes in a secure location
What is Google Authenticator?
Google Authenticator is a free app that generates time-based verification codes for two-factor authentication. Download it from:
- iOS: App Store
- Android: Google Play Store
Tip: Other authenticator apps like Authy or Microsoft Authenticator also work with Eskra.
Disabling two-factor authentication
If you need to disable 2FA:
- Navigate to Settings → Security
- Click Disable 2FA
- Enter a verification code from your authenticator app
- Confirm you want to disable 2FA
Warning: Disabling 2FA makes your account less secure. We recommend keeping it enabled.
